Project Management
The physical development of a healthcare facility is a multi-disciplinary process that requires significant experience in architecture and construction as well as clinical understanding. The difficult process of selecting an architect and a general contractor is Atlantic's first step.
Atlantic's process includes a thorough RFP that defines previous experience along with numerous other qualifications. Atlantic will present the results of the RFP’s information to the owner to ensure that all considerations were taken into account when selecting the architect and general contractor. In addition, Atlantic's development team has significant experience working with federal, state and municipal regulatory agencies. With Atlantic's understanding of code compliance and operational review from the inception of design, potential problems during the inspection process are significantly reduced.
Understanding the clinical process and efficiency of patient care at the facility is the primary focus of the design team. Physician partners along with selected nursing staff participate during the design phase to ensure that the facility will fulfill specific clinical and operational needs.
Cooperative management of the construction project plan with the architect and general contractor guarantees that the project stays on track and is completed on time. Atlantic is very conscious of the operational, cost and lost revenue implications with delays in construction. Successful planning and management of the design and development process lead to an exceptionally-built facility that our partners will be proud to say they own.
Atlantic provides the owners with a monthly project binder that will include the status of the project according to the project plan, weather status, materials procurement and any change order information.
