Operational Management
From operational implementation key management principles are
followed though the commencement of operations. Atlantic’s
management team will focus on revenue maximization within our
revenue cycle process. Our labor cost management includes
productivity standards within the clinical areas with strict attention
to the quality and safety of patient care. Inventory and supply cost
management, in coordination with the medical staff will ensure the
most cost-efficient care without compromising physician preference,
or patient safety.
Atlantic's management team will provide ongoing cost containment
and revenue maximization concepts to the owners on a monthly
basis. Each quarter, specialty and payer specific reporting is
communicated to the owners to provide decision support
information. The partnership is provided financial statements each
month consisting of income statement, balance sheet and cash flow
statement. In addition each month the governing board made up of
physician owners and Atlantic determine distributions with
consideration to the overall strategic plan and taxable position.
Atlantic will coordinate the delivery of a forecasted taxable impact starting at the end of the third quarter to ensure all partners are considering their taxable liability.
